Another World Record Shattered!!!!
Yes indeed – The first ever, (as far as we know), Almond Roca made at this altitude. Can you believe it? They said you couldn’t make candy this high up but as you can see – it has been done now. Turned out good for the first try too. It sure does act different making it this high up though. Nothing was coming together at all, and then, it all happened at once and was at the hard crack. I don’t have a candy thermometer here so I was eyeballin’ it.
Now you can tell your great grand kids that you were there when this happened.
What can I say….
