Along with the other cooking experiments we did over the weekend this was another one. We found the “Oopsie Roll” recipe on the web and it sounding interesting. This is another one that fits into the Bun replacement category for the “low carb” people.
We will tell you up front that based on our making and using these we had mixed results. Using as a breakfast bun wasn’t bad, but we used as a hamburger bun at lunch for some chicken burger patties and didn’t like them at all. So why you might ask would we put them in here if they were not utterly and totally fantastic? Well they did work for a breakfast bun in our opinion and they are easy to make and VERY low calorie. So if you want a bun replacement, this is an option. Now you know.
