The principle ingredient is pork with the predominant spice being Paprika. There are two principle types of Sobrasada, Dolc (sweet), and coent hot (with cayenne). If you see a Red string on one it is sweet, a Red and White string is on the Hot sausage. It is found in Europe and North America and has been accidentally introduced to other countries under conifers and can be found growing in pine plantations.

Coca, the popular flat bread of the Balearic Islands and Catalonia, comes in a variety of shapes — rectangle, square, oval, round — and with countless toppings, such as caramelized onions and anchovy, greens seasoned with ham, and small dollops of fresh cheese. In the past, this dough was made with lard, but nowadays olive oil is more common.
