I can't believe how fast things are moving - we were given a more or less completion date of mid August - WOW. Our crew is amazing and I am thankful for the kind hearts, hard work and great spirits. The smiles every day and the 'thank you' in english makes my heart melt. This week I was again making hard boiled eggs for the Venezulans (that are walking back to their country - long story) but had some left over eggs and thought why not make some for the guys. Deviled eggs with fresh made curried mayo & spanish paprika. Dave checked and watched one of them pass the plate around, then poof 10 eggs gone and then they ate lunch - I am guessing they liked the hard boiled eggs!

Busy week - the roof supports are almost complete. The crew was to work on Saturday but it rained again which made standing up on those boards and the beams very dangerous (too slippery). I wish we had a clip of them cutting the beams to make them fit - they are done free hand with a chain saw - yes the neighbors were impressed (not really). At least they don't start until after 7am, but that is almost over now then the roof 🙂
