Casa 5.31.2014
Its the last day of month 9 – here is how the house looks!
- This is the last work day of the month and they worked late last night so they took off a little early and are playing soccer when I took these.
- Front door is installed now – what do you think? It is solid Oak, Seiki.
- It is a little hard to see but the front door is 6 cm thick or almost 2 1/2 inches thick.
- The counter additions seem to be about done on the outdoor kitchen.
- Looking just outside of the kitchen toward the front door.
- Window and door in the laundry room is in and you can see a bit of the sink on the left.
- A look at the Master bath from just inside the doorway.
- The entrance to the Master Bath
- The hallway to Dave’s office is getting a second coat of paint it seems.
- From the doorway of the breakfast room looking out at the kitchen to the doors to the outdoor kitchen.
- Outside the breakfast room – no that is not a dog house, it is for propane tanks.
- The area they are building is for more propane tanks and the hot water.
- Back porch with the window over the tub in the Master bath.
- Windows installed in the bodega.
- This is what they worked on late last night. They built the septic tank. Looks like the system is close to being complete.
- That chipping away there you see is to add some water taps to the outside of the house.
- Next month the house should be complete.
- Maya Angelo finished the breakfast room – look…BIRDS too. I will save the story as to the meaning of those birds for another day… The picture doesn’t show it as good as it looks.
